Codelab with new ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certificates

Jan Zaborowski Jan Zaborowski

Codelab increases quality and safety standards of its services. In November, after a positive audit, the company received certificates confirming compliance with the requirements of norms ISO 27001 (information security) and ISO 9001 (quality management) issued by BSI Group.

Certification confirms that the company has implemented and complies with the requirements of the

- ISO/EIC 27001:2013 standard and has an Information Security Management System

- ISO 9001:2015 standard and has a Quality Management System.

Certification was issued for scope: design, development and testing of software, consultancy services for developed products and ICT services.

“We are satisfied with the obtained certifications. It is not only the fulfilment of our customers’ requirements, but also a formal confirmation of the highest quality and safety standards applied for years. By designing solutions so sensitive to industrial secrecy, participating in projects that the consumer market will see in a few years’ time — such requirements are obvious to us, and now confirmed beyond any doubt”.

Marek Kopyto, Managing Director of Codelab

The obtained certificates are in line with Codelab strategy of providing high quality services. It complements an important part of Codelab’s business focusing not only on the most modern software technology but also the processes of its production and development.

“We are very pleased that we have managed to finalize the implementation of ISO 27001. For over 10 years Codelab experts have been offering knowledge and consulting services in the field of software engineering, process adaptation for Customers expecting compliance with the regime of such standards and systems as Automotive SPICE, ISO 26262 or TISAX. Obtaining ISO27001 certification (with ISO9001 re-certification) certainly complements this package, but also opens up further opportunities to operate in the most demanding industries.

Joerg Winkler, Managing Director of Codelab

The ISO9001 renewal audit and ISO 27001 certification audit were carried out by BSI Group. More information on quality and safety of services and quality assurance consulting is available at Quality Assurance at our page.

Design Thinking in R&D

When creating new products or services, it is worth doing it based on a deep understanding of the problems and needs of users. That’s the time where “Design Thinking” should be used. In Codelab, we have used this approach while working...
