We expect this in return:

  • very good knowledge of C and one or more object-oriented languages
  • very good knowledge of software design and architecture
  • analytic mindset and a strong customer focus
  • practical experience in the development and maintenance of complex, production-ready and high-performance applications
  • solid knowledge of relational databases and cross-platform development
  • practical experience with IDEs (e.g. Eclipse, Visual Studio, IntelliJ) and distributed source code management systems (e.g. Git) and other development tools
  • good knowledge and practical experience with design samples, unit tests and test automation as well as development under Unix and/or Windows
  • good communication and teamwork skills
  • good English skills

  • development and maintenance of the core architecture of z/OS-based and distributed business applications in the area of data center infrastructure
  • following high quality programming standards
  • working as a member of cross functional team

Also, it would be nice if you:

  • had good German language skills
  • had experience with HLASM (High-Level Assembler) coding
  • had experience using and customizing IPCS to view z/OS SVC Dumps and determining causes of failures
